Painted on found pages from real estate publications, Unreal Estate, is an artist's book published by local artist Tony de Lautour and Christchurch Art Gallery.
Red, blue/green, orange and white... the post earthquake Christchurch has been broken into coloured zones. Local artist Tony de Lautour's latest works are preoccupied with these zones and their impact on the city's property market. Painted on found pages from Christchurch's post quake real estate publications, properties for sale are smothered by washes of colour and consumed by geometric abstract shapes. A selection of these new works have been selected for inclusion in Unreal Estate, an artist's book published by de Lautour and Christchurch Art Gallery.
