This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of noted artist Doris Lusk. Join art consultant Grant Banbury, who has researched her work since the late 1970s, as he discusses the artist's contribution to the canon of modernism in twentieth-century New Zealand art.

Banbury will also place Lusk in the context of other artists of the period, look at her involvement in ceramic circles in Canterbury from the late 1940s, highlight her changing processes and explore possible reasons why Lusk's works since 1970 have received less critical attention.
