Luke Shaw (Ōtautahi) and Madison Kelly (Kāi Tahu, Ōtepoti) test the process of 'listening blind', improvising a series of musical codes and signals with guitar and percussion.

This performance is a part of A Time of Waiting, a series of temporary installations, site activations, and performances that investigate how seemingly passive actions can resonate or become politically charged responses to the relentless pace and demands of contemporary life.

Curated and toured by Chris Braddock, John Vea and Stephen Cleland, with support from Creative New Zealand, Auckland University of Technology and Te Wai Ngutu Kākā Gallery, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Keep an eye on our website for additional performances in this series.
