Kim Paton will talk about her role working across Objectspace and CoCA, and her interest in exhibition making across the fields of craft, design, architecture and contemporary art.

Kim is the director of Objectspace in Auckland, a public gallery dedicated to the fields of craft, design and architecture. For 2021 she also holds the position of artistic director for Christchurch gallery Toi Moroki Centre for Contemporary Art (CoCA). She holds a first class honours degree in Sculpture and a post-graduate diploma in Business Management. Kim has curated and written extensively on craft and contemporary art, and is co-author of the book Contemporary Jewellery in Context, published by Arnoldsche Art Publishers and released in July 2017.
