Paul Hartigan Alphabetica Redux 2014–18
Returning in 3D for 2018!
Watch as the Gallery’s NZI Foyer is illuminated in a kaleidoscope of blue/green lights, moving and reflecting around the architecture and surfaces. Immersive and otherworldly, it's a visual spectacle that brings the space to life after dark.
First shown at the Gallery in 2004, Alphabetica Redux 2004/18 has been reinvigorated with the latest laser technology and set of 98 glyphs – the Hartigan alphabet. Alphabetica Redux is free-form light-drawing and custom calligraphy by the artist. Digitally crazy, the show is presented as part of the SCAPE 20th Anniversary Season 2018.
