Abandoned by his parents as a child, Shoto robs and assaults women and elderly people to get by. Fleeing from the police he arrives in a mountain village in Miyazaki Prefecture where he helps an injured elderly woman,Suma. She takes him in and as he becomes part of the local community, he begins to change. Can Shoto redeem himself?
