Curator Peter Vangioni discusses one of Waitaha Canterbury’s most respected expatriate artists.

Peter will discuss McIntyre’s beginnings in Christchurch, explore the reasons he felt the need to leave, and then follow his success as a modernist artist in London. He will also look at the connections he made with his contemporaries, fellow Aotearoa New Zealand expats Frances Hodgkins, Owen Merton and Margaret Stoddart.
