Emerging in the 1970’s, Hartigan’s work is as eclectic as it is rock’n’roll, and Vivid is a chronology of it all – from his first mural on the wall of a New Plymouth club aged just 16, to huge neon works at the University of Auckland, the Powerstation music venue and Real Groovy on Auckland’s Queen Street.
