Track A [17:35]
Track B [16:14]
Melbourne based artist Marco Fusinato's practice is an amalgamation of both visual and sonic aspects. The sounds heard in these two tracks have been created by playing a traditional amplified electric guitar in a very unconventional, spontaneous manner. Fusinato extracts a wide range of noises from the instrument through the application of a variety of effects units, creating intense waves of droning guitar noise overlaid with highly processed sounds. When Fusinato performed live at Christchurch Art Gallery in 2008, the audience was treated to some of the loudest and most intense waves of guitar noise yet to have been heard in Christchurch.
