Join us for an evening championing the art of justice, inspired by the protest spirit of Ralph Hotere. Featuring a line-up of local poets and a series of live performances.
6.15pm: Drummer, composer and founding-member of Trinity Roots, Riki Gooch will kick off the evening with a live solo drumming response to Ralph Hotere's Black Phoenix.
7.15pm: A poetry lineup from a series of talented Ōtautahi wordsmiths. Featuring Tusiata Avia, Nathan Joe and Ben Brown.
8.15pm: Musician Isla Reeves Martin will be closing out the evening with an acoustic set performed in Ralph Hotere and Bill Culbert's work P.R.O.P.
Come thirsty and hungry because we have food from The Burger Joint and drinks from Greystone Wines, Three Boys Brewery and Karma Drinks.
