Join Gallery librarian Tim Jones as he reflects on the incredible six months he spent working with the Bougainville Heritage Foundation in Arawa, Bougainville.
Bougainville is still recovering from civil war while facing huge environmental and political challenges. Tim took on the challenge of setting up a collection of oral histories in order to help preserve the island’s unique stories and culture for future generations.
