The winners of the Ringmaster: Stories from Christchurch Art Gallery competition will be announced on Thursday 17 November at 7pm in the Geo Dome in Hagley Park.

Everyone is welcome to come along and hear the judges, Gavin Bishop and Joanna Orwin, talking about how art and creative writing work together. Find out who the winners are from each age group and what made their work so special.

Over 200 entries were received for the Ringmaster writing competition from schools and individual young people. Entrants had to choose an artwork from the Gallery collection which provided inspiration for either a poem or a short narrative.
