Artist Peter Robinson will discuss his work Die Cuts and Derivations which features in the exhibition of the same name.

An expansive installation by Peter Robinson forms the spark of this collection-based look at how artists investigate and respond to space, through line, materials and improvisation.

With experiences ranging from the intimate to the spectacular, this new exhibition also features many recent acquisitions – such as a colourful manu aute, or bark-cloth kite, made by Nikau Hindin using earth-based pigments, a painting-within-a-painting by Oli Perkins and a delicately entwined John Pule drawing inspired by his family’s ancestral lands in Niue. The exhibition also provides a new context for other works, including an exquisite selection of historical pencil works and Neil Dawson’s memorable 1979 installation Seascape.
