Melanie Oliver will share her reflections on the 56th Venice Biennale, 'All the World's Futures', curated by Okwui Enwezor.

New Zealand will be represented this year by Simon Denny's project 'Secret Power'. Taking its title from investigative journalist Nicky Hager's 1996 book that discussed New Zealand's role in international intelligence, Denny addresses issues of knowledge and geography in the post-Snowden information age. Melanie will talk about the key exhibitions, artist projects and parties she attended during the opening preview week, and the subsequent reception of the world's most prestigious international contemporary art exhibition.

Melanie Oliver is the director The Physics Room, Christchurch.
