Jonathan Smart will discuss his gallery's recent and forthcoming programme — enabled by the generosity of Neil Dawson, in whose studio/hall Jonathan Smart Gallery now operates. Jonathan Smart has been a gallerist in Christchurch for twenty-four years, working alongside contemporary New Zealand artists ranging from the well established to the younger and more edgy. He has an MA in Art History from the University of Canterbury and has been a writer, a critic, a teacher and a Churchill Fellow.
