Coralie Winn is co-founder and project coordinator of Gap Filler. This initiative, developed after Christchurch’s 4 September earthquake, activates vacant spaces created by the quakes with temporary creative projects for community benefit. Gap Filler has realised a number of projects to date, spanning a range of creative forms from film to installation, performance poetry to improvised dance. Previously Winn ran the artist in residence programme at The Arts Centre and before that managed SOFA Gallery. She has also been a member of the experimental collective, Free Theatre Christchurch for four years, devising and performing provocative theatre in this city and around New Zealand.
