One good reason to visit 212 Madras St
Behind the scenes
It arrived on Thursday, after a nervous wait.

Reportedly, stocks were low all across Australasia. And this was the pure stuff, the precious stuff.

Glitter. Dozens of sacks of it.

And today its sender, Reuben Paterson, will arrive in Christchurch too, to spread it all across a projection screen six metres wide.

That done, he'll add an even more important element: light. Projected light, which will hit the glitter screen in eye-boggling, kaledioscopic, ceaselessly budding patterns. 'Te Pūtahitangi ō Rehua' is the name of the show, and it'll be shining on, from Thursday the 21st, in our space at 212 Madras Street. More here and here and here.
