This is the third Artists Project for 1982 with the artist presenting a suite of paintings selected from recent work.
Exquisitely executed canvases in tones of brick red and white, these visually stunning works are entirely based on the triangle. The shape of the works is determined by the configuration of the triangles within, and these triangles explore very precise geometric relationships and progressions between themselves.
This is the third Artists Project for 1982 with the artist presenting a suite of paintings selected from recent work. Julia Morison’s wok has recently undergone a radical stylistic change to an extremely precise, crisp edged imagery utilising shaped canvases. Those who have followed Ms Morison’s development will find this a very interesting exhibition.
