Art Bite

Friday 30 October 2026 / 12pm

Meet in the exhibition

Join us for a very special opportunity to hear directly from one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s foremost documentary photographers, John Miller, known for capturing this country’s most significant protest movements.  Pouarataki curator Māori Chloe Cull will lead a kōrero with Miller in front of his photographs of Māori land occupations in our collection exhibition He Kapuka Oneone: A Handful of Soil on the first floor.

Art Bites are lunchtime presentations on a single work on display, presented by our staff, guides and guest speakers. This Art Bite is expected to be 45 minutes.

There's a new Art Bite to enjoy each Friday at 12 noon (except during public and school holidays).
