Newspaper outside 209 Tuam Street
It seemed like a good omen when I arrived at our Tuam Street space this morning and outside was this elegantly bent newspaper complete with urine stain. Inside, we're installing Locust Jones' drawing, Bankrupt, infuriated and confused (2011-12) - a 100 metre long drawing made over 12 months that chronicles the artist's increasing discontent at the way the 24 hour cycle manipulates and misrepresents world events.

Installation in progress
It opens on Saturday (alongside an exhibition of Barry Cleavin's exquisitely acerbic digital prints) so I won't spoil the surprise, but here's a small sample. Come along on Saturday to see a whole lot more and, if you're here by 11am, to hear Locust speak about the work.
