This selection of 60 drawings by Italian masters was made from the collection of European old master drawings bequeathed to the Courtauld Institute of Art in London by Sir Robert Witt in 1952. It presented a reasonably complete exposition of old Italian drawing from the early 16th to the late 18th century.
Artists included Vasari, Tintoretto, Reni, Bernini, Tiepolo, Canaletto, and Piranesi.
