An exhibition of leading British artists and printmakers of the day
The British Council brought this tour from Hong Kong through the National Art Gallery in Wellington.
There were 48 prints by the leading artists and printmakers of the day. Most of these artists were already known as painters and sculptors, and printmaking was seen as another way of enlarging their means of expression. The artists included Robert Adams, Kenneth Armitage, Lynn Chadwick, Merlyn Evans, Henry Moore, Eduardo Paolozzi, Ceri Richards, William Sunderland, William Turnbull and Bryan Winter.
Admission cost one shilling.
