K. G. Cotman Lectures

Kenneth Cotman FRSA, FBDS, teacher and artist gave a series of illustrated talks to the Friends of the Gallery on The Norwich School of Painting,Turner and Van Gogh, I know what I like and the Cotman Collection. The latter was a unique set of slides of watercolours and oils in the possession of the family. Since 1772 eight members of the family painted and all the slides were unknown to the general public. Only a very few pictures were sent to exhibitions in London and abroad.
