Frank Martin has been featured in a number of books on printmaking but is probably better known in New Zealand for his wood engravings for the Folio Society.
This exhibition showed 40 of his etchings and woodcuts on the movies. The exhibition was accompanied by a programme of 80 slides of the early films of the 1920s and 1930s featuring the source material for the exhibition.
It was also proposed that The History of the Motion Picture from the National Library could show alongside the exhibition.
A number of prints were for sale.
