Ferrier-Watson Collection of Watercolours by John Kinder

This exhibition was organised by the Waikato Art Gallery and consisted of 32 watercolours by the Revd. John Kinder (1819-1903).

The subjects of the paintings are landscapes, mostly form the Rotorua-Taupo area. It included one painting of Lyttelton Harbour and some of Lake Wakatipu.

The works were important artistically, as well as possessing historic and topographical interest.
