Contemporary Dutch Graphic Art

The Netherlands Institute for International Cultural Relations brought this exhibition to New Zealand and in Christchurch it was opened by the Mayor of Christchurch, George Manning.

The 110 exhibits by 28 living Dutch artists (1893 – 1934) showed a wide cross section of contemporary graphic art in Holland. Techniques included woodcuts, wood engravings, linoleum cuts, etching, dry point, lithograph and aquatint.

A talk about the collection was presented by Rudolph Gopas, lecturer at Canterbury University School of Art.
