Sponsored by the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council, Billy Apple exhibited his own conceptual work in the gallery. This was accompanied by a life-size poster depicting the artist displayed at the height of 5'7".
He also gave a slide lecture of his work to the University of Canterbury School of Fine Arts.
