Balinese Folk Art

This exhibition came from the extensive collection of Mr and Mrs Dunnigham of Hamilton and was gathered traditional folk art and crafts on visits to Bali over 20 years.

The exhibition comprised richly coloured mainly polychromed wood carvings, masks and a few cloth paintings.

The exhibition was seen as interesting but disempowered out of its natural setting according to reviewer John Summers.
