World Knit in Public Day

Event

Past event

Bayleys Knight Frank Foyer

Join Christchurch’s knit and stitch enthusiasts and celebrate World Knit in Public Day by taking over the trams. Then end the adventure at the Gallery with a coffee or tea and whip a up a crochet crater to add to artist Ani O’Neill’s work in Yellow Moon.

If you don't crochet, don't worry we can show you how. Or you can just carry on knitting and chatting, or crocheting and chatting, or just chatting, or just knitting or just crocheting… you get the drift.

Bring your knitting or crochet and friends. There will be some wool and knitting needles and crochet hooks and tuition available.

Organised by the Ninja Knitters and the Upper Riccarton Library Knit 'n' Stitch.

If you can't find us or want more information call the Crochet Ninja, Sally, on 022 152 1945.
