Jonathan Smart Gallery, 52 Buchan Street, Sydenham
Since 1999 the Friends have held fundraising events from which the proceeds have been specifically used for the acquisition of contemporary artworks for the Gallery's collection.
Over the years these have also been highly successful social occasions. We owe a big thank you to the many artists from across the country who have so generously supplied artworks in the past, and to those offering works for this year's auction.
Amongst participating artists this year are Joanna Braithwaite, Mark Braunias, Helen Calder, Tony de Lautour, Tjalling de Vries, Simon Edwards, Emma Fitts, Darryn George, Sam Harrison, Marie Le Lievre, Kim Lowe, Marion Maguire, Ben Reid, Doc Ross, Chris Pole, Katie Thomas, Jeff Thomson, Sian Torrington, Philip Trusttum, Dean Venrooy, Tim J. Veling and Wayne Youle.
Join us for a great night out, a celebration of contemporary art and the chance to purchase original New Zealand works of art.
