Join artist Dame Robin White (Ngāti Awa, Pākehā) as she discusses her art practice with Nina Tonga of Te Papa Tongarewa and Sarah Farrar of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki.
Explore Robin White’s celebrated portraits and local landscapes from the 1970s, and the ambitious collaborative works she has made with artists from across the Pacific and Aotearoa New Zealand in recent years.
The exhibition includes early watercolour and drawings, her time in Otago Peninsula, working with Sam Hunt, and to her masi collaborations with Pacific artists including Tamari Cabeikanacea and Ruha Fifita.
Note, this floortalk will be taking place at 11am and 1pm on opening day, with the intention of keeping numbers manageable through the exhibition.
