Riccarton House is a grand Victorian/Edwardian homestead built for Canterbury's pioneering Deans family. The house is fully restored and is decorated and furnished in appropriate period style.

On Saturday it hosts Christchurch's largest farmers' market.

The group will travel by bus for a tour of the house with a member of the Deans Family, allowing plenty of time to browse the market before lunch at the House.
