View an impressive private art collection, beautifully installed in an architecturally designed Christchurch home.
The Chaneys started collecting art in 1998 when their interior designer told them 'to go and buy some art' to complete the interior of their new house. They visited a lot of galleries throughout the country, bought a lot of art books and took time to collect. Today their collection comprises major works by Milan Mrkusich, Tony Fomison, Ralph Hotere, Don Peebles, Tony de Lautour, Séraphine Pick and Terry Stringer. Architect Kerry Mason designed their current home while a partner in Warren and Mahoney.
