Deepen your connection with this fascinating exhibition and its undulations with curator Ken Hall and Ōtautahi artist Helen Calder. Join in the conversation about works across the spectrum of media and made millennia apart.
As Time Unfolds is an absorbing gathering of works from the Gallery collection from ancient Greece and Rome, the Baroque and Renaissance periods and contemporary Aotearoa. All feature the motif of the fold in the fall of drapery, in rippling landscape, or in creased or folded materials.
Look out for a further floortalk on Saturday 23 January focusing on early works on paper and paintings in the show with music from the Baroque and Renaissance periods.
