University of Canterbury Graphic Design lecturer Aaron Beehre will speak about Ilam Press and other recent projects.
Graphic Design lecturers Aaron Beehre and Luke Wood established Ilam Press in 2011. The aim was to develop a small publishing studio that would produce cost-effective short-run publications.
Beehre will talk about the process of setting up Ilam Press and its role as a teaching tool within the School of Fine Arts, and present a number of projects Ilam Press are currently undertaking, including publications for City Gallery Wellington, Mark Braunius, Gavin Hipkins and the general Rock'n'Roll community.
