Bringing up the rear

Note

We finish our handwashing poems with R A K Mason's Song of Allegiance, read, as was the Keats sonnet that started this series, by me.

Of course this doesn't mean you should stop washing your hands, but after a poem a day for seven weeks, we hope the habit is now deeply engrained and will continue for life. I thank all the readers of poems for their contributions.

I also hope that the exploration of the connections between poetry and art - which this project has shown to be both numerous and profound - will continue in some other form.

Till then, enjoy the daemon poesy from us for one last time.
