Releveling activity is in full swing as building repairs ramp up
The entrance to the underground car park on Montreal St.
Beneath the building there is intense activity going on.
Equipment is being moved in and pipes have been laid.
Core drilling
Concrete coring through the basement floor to allow jetcrete columns equipment to operate.
The car park floor is 400mm thick and the holes are 200mm in diameter. There are 124 holes to be drilled.

Meanwhile, outside a well has been bored at the corner of Worcester and Montreal streets. This allows de-watering of the ground beneath the basement.
The silty ground water is settled before being removed to the storm water system.
A hoarding has been set-up around the entire building. The gnomes remain stoic!
