It's the little Piko pumpkin, which used to grace the wall of the Piko Wholefoods Cooperative on the corner of Barbadoes and Kilmore Streets. After almost thirty years, the old brick building was dealt a fatal blow by February's earthquake, but happily the pumpkin has found a home in the front window of Piko's new premises in Stanmore Road. A hopeful sign, indeed.
