Within the Gallery, some staff have been helping to coordinate information about the locations of art within vulnerable buildings, while others have been working directly with Civil Defence on all kinds of emergency response tasks.

Out in the field, staff have been helping at the Canterbury Museum, at the Centre of Contemporary Art and at various other places around town where their knowledge of handling, packing, transporting and storing artworks has been invaluable.
