Behind the scenes
There's a lot of glass in the Gallery foyer – 2184 panes of it to be precise. It's part of what makes the foyer the impressive space that it is.
So to make sure that the light keeps flooding in in such spectacular fashion, a little cleaning and maintenance is required every now and then. Over the last couple of days Andrew Drummond's hanging sculptures have been vying for attention with window cleaners and cherry-pickers. The Gallery's photographer took a few pictures.
