This exhibition captures the impact of the Great War 1914-1918 on New Zealand society and how it seared the hearts of those who fought as well as those who were left behind in New Zealand.
It shows all sides of the story and includes paintings, photographs, letters, and other documentary material from the National Archives Collection, Wellington. Artists represented include: George Butler, Horace Moore-Jones, John Weeks, Nugent Welch, and Elizabeth Kelly.
