Art historian Margaux Warne examines the themes and subjects in the work of Impressionist artists Berthe Morisot and Mary Cassatt, and their relationships with other artists including Corot, Manet and Degas.

Margaux studied art history at the University of Canterbury and her research focuses on nineteenth-century art and literature. She has recently returned to New Zealand after living in England and France.
