This print depicts the painting now known as 'Portrait of an elderly woman' by Rembrandt (1606-1669). Formerly at the State Hermitage Museum, St Petersburg, it is now in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow (Inventory number F-2622).
