Gallery Trust Gala Fundraiser
Behind the scenes
As most of you will know, the Gallery is ten years old this year, and while we celebrated in outrageous magenta form with our Populate! programme in May for the real birthday, the Gallery's Trust thought they'd raise the celebrations to an even greater height with a gala fundraiser like no other...
On 20 July, the Trust will gather with friends and guests for a five course dinner, all under the artistic direction of artist Michael Parekowhai. And we'll be auctioning some amazing items. You can view them here and even reserve a bid if you can't make it to the evening.
The Trust has just a handful of tickets left for the first gallery gala dinner since we were fundraising to open the new gallery... ten years ago! We're now fundraising to bring more art to Christchurch within our Outer Spaces programme, while the Gallery remains closed, but open.
