Halswell that ends well

Behind the scenes

This term while Susie is off in Singapore for six weeks at the Asian Civilisations Museum, I have the pleasure of taking the Gallery's education programme out to schools around Christchurch.

Students have been looking at works by Eileen Mayo and Juliet Peter and producing some beautifiul artwork.

Last week, students at Halswell school created their own night time garden scenes based on Juliet Peter's work. They used crayon and stencil rubbings, dye, and foam prints. Thanks Halswell School - you were fantastic!
