The Guides' committee arranged the occasion to welcome George Patrick John Ogle and honour his devoted mother, Rebecca. George was the star of the morning and spent the entire time in the arms of each guide and staff member in turn, gurgling, smiling, engaging and looking intelligent. Only after an hour had gone by did Rebecca re-claim him to feed him. And the smiles continued.

George impressed as a very sociable young man!
