This exhibition is now closed
This exhibition was organised by the Embassy of France in New Zealand at short notice. It comprised 80 photographs by famous photgraphers Brassai, Cartier-Bresson, Charbonnier, Doisneau, Izis and Riboud. The photographs covered the period from 1932-1970.
There was a good public response to the exhibition with 1,612 attending over a period of 2 weeks. Brian Muir, Gallery Director, found it all too short.
There was also a short feature about the show on local television, The South Tonight.
