This exhibition of 70 works by 22 contemporary German artists was organised by Auckland Art Gallery for the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council. Most of the artists had been exhibited widely in many countries. The show comprised painting, woodcuts, pen drawings, and collage.
Don Peebles, lecturer in Design at the School of Fine Arts, Canterbury gave a talk on the exhibition on Sunday 10 October at 3pm.
The catalogue cost three shillings.
