The Embassy of Japan in New Zealand presents this screening as part of a series of fascinating films in 2020. An animated feature film based on a manga series that has sold over 130 million copies.
Creator Masashi Kishimoto acts as story supervisor and character designer for this adaptation. The moon begins to move closer to the Earth. If it continues its course, the moon will disintegrate, raining debris upon the Earth and causing the extinction of mankind. Naruto and his friends begin an investigation, which brings them to an underground zone that bears a massive cursed inscription.
