Friends-only visit to painter Anne Visser.
'My abstractionist paintings reflect the migratory background of many New Zealanders and how it forms our cultural identity.I use vivid colours and combine old and new materials to give insight into the importance of change and growth in our lives.' Anne Visser studied fine arts at LM University in Munich, Germany. Since coming to New Zealand she has exhibited paintings in group shows including the 2009 Anthony Harper Contemporary Art Award at CoCA and Preview: A survey exhibition of South Island artists at CoCA, Temple Gallery Dunedin and Webbs in Auckland.
